Floral Fundamentals Workshop :: SEASON FINALE
Date: October 17, 2020
Time: 10:30AM - 1 PM
Location: Love 'n Fresh Flowers | Philadelphia PA
The long low golden rays of the autumn sun will touch on the very last of our flowers to bloom before frost in this final workshop of our season that uses fresh flowers. The cold nights will have turned the jewel-tones of the dahlias into something you can't quite believe, proving Mother Nature is indeed a sorceress. The meadow will be full of dying grasses and seed pods to forage. The swan song of a field about to give up the last of its spirit for the season is intensely beautiful and somehow unexpectedly calming. Find your center in this wild space before the winter sets in. A unique moody onyx vessel will be provided for each student to use and is yours to keep. Walk long rows of fading blooms at the farm and harvest as your heart desires. Learn how to craft a lush dramatic arrangement full of wildness. Sip mulled cider or wine if the chill in the air is too much.
Light seasonal refreshments are provided during the workshop.
Class size is limited to 8 people; five students must be signed up for the class to run.
Each student will be given their own free-standing workstation that has been sanitized and there will be 6+feet of distance between each workstation. Students must wear a mask while inside the barn studio space, but are welcome to roam around the farm without a mask when they are more than 10 feet away from any other individual. Hand sanitizer will be available for students to use as much as they need. Refreshments will be served al fresco in self-contained units.
No refunds are offered for students who can not make it after registering.
In case of severe weather or new/continued restrictions on gatherings, the class may be rescheduled or canceled. Students will be notified in advance as much as possible and if the class is cancelled by Love 'n Fresh, full refunds will be promptly made to all students.
